About Us

What about us?

What does Oxygen (O2) do?
Oxygen is an interchurch ministry geared toward students, young adults and the young at heart. O2 is comprised of events that include unharnessed heartfelt worship, dynamic live concerts, and relevant teaching.

What is Oxygen (O2)?
Oxygen is a ministry that strives to reach today's student generation in a new and more effective way.

Oxygen has successfully developed student ministries in Washtenaw County and in the Metro Detroit area for over 20 years and is under the leadership of Pastor Tony and Linda Weatherly.

Oxygen has recently organized churches and brought in speaker Reggie Dabbs to speak at school assemblies in the Washtenaw County area and is the process of starting monthly community youth churches in or near many of the area schools.

Oxygen also holds a monthly meeting of Washtenaw youth pastors.  They are held at St Luke’s Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor on the second Thursday of each month at 2 p.m. Oxygen also coordinates activities with the Wayne County Youth Network and the Downriver Youth Pastors Association.

What does Oxygen do?
O2 provides interchurch worship services, produces monthly main events, host teen clubs and does school assemblies.

How can I be a part of the O2 team?
O2 is made up primarily of volunteers. We are simply looking for youth pastors, group leaders, vocalists, music groups and adults who love youth and want to help them. If you would like to be an O2 volunteer, please email
o2youth@gmail.com or call (734) 664-0300.
