Oxygen is an outreach
that strives to reach
today's student
generation in a new and
more effective way. It
is a fellowship of
community workers from
Metro-Detroit that
network together to help
each other's ministries
and to collaborate for
neighborhood and
countywide student
events. Its whole
purpose is "transforming
lives to transform the
world." Oxygen exists to
complement the local
church and to build
church youth groups. The
organization is unique
in that it works in
partnership with
churches, while not
being affiliated with
any particular
denomination.
Oxygen has successfully developed
student ministries in Washtenaw County and in the Metro Detroit area for
over 25 years and is under the leadership of Pastor Tony and Linda
Weatherly.
